This M47 is named in commemoration of Lieutenant Edwin V. Loustalot of the US Rangers who died at Berneval-sur-Mer on 19 August 1942. He was the first American soldier to die on French soil during the Second World War. The M47 is in running order. It is on loan from the French Army and remains its property.
